One World TB Summit - World TB Day 2023 held in India

2023 was one of the most successful World TB Day ever in terms of awareness, advocacy and communications. A huge event marking World TB Day was organized in Varanasi, India which was inaugurated by Honorable Prime Minister of India, Mr. Narendra Modi.

The event was also broadcast on Doordarshan National – India’s national broadcaster that has both national and international viewership. View the full broadcast here:

 

The overall viewership of the event, especially from YouTube, was well beyond 1 million. The communications team also ensured a wide media coverage (electronic and traditional) in terms of both earned and owned media
