We can’t win the fight against TB unless there is universal access to quality-assured and affordable diagnosis, treatment, and care. Yet 33% of the estimated 10 million people who fall ill with TB every year are missed by health systems each year, and vulnerable populations – such as migrants, miners, prisoners, children, and people affected by HIV – remain particularly hard to reach.
The Stop TB Partnership's Global Drug Facility (GDF) team works closely with countries, suppliers, donors and other stakeholders to improve the availability of, and integrate into health systems, quality-assured and sustainably priced TB medicines, diagnostic equipment, and other new technologies.
Through our TB REACH initiative, we support groundbreaking initiatives that aim to find more people with TB faster.
And the Stop TB Partnership’s Re-imagining TB Care initiative is transforming when, where, and how TB care is accessed and provided in TB affected countries.
