Stop TB Partnership Community Award 2022

TB Community-Led Monitoring: Leaving No One Behind

4 October 2022- Stop TB Partnership (STP) champions the meaningful engagement of TB affected communities and civil society in all aspects of the TB response. Each year, STP recognizes significant contributions from TB affected communities and civil society to the TB response in TB high burden settings, with the Stop TB Partnership Community Award – in what is the largest TB award for TB affected communities and civil society.

Over the last three years, this recognition has been for community mobilization for human rights, stigma, grass roots peer support and TB community resilience in the face of COVID-19.

In 2022, STP is again delighted to be joined by Humana People to People Foundation as the co-supporter of this unique award. The total award available in 2022 is USD 50,000.

This year the focus is on leaving no one behind through TB community-led monitoring (CLM). The successful nominee/s, chosen by the selection panel, will have contributed to advancing an equitable, rights-based TB response through CLM rollout and scale-up – that focuses on people with TB and TB key and vulnerable populations being engaged.
