Stop TB Partnership Cambodia

KHANA Cambodia provided a three-day capacity-building training on leadership, advocacy, and social mobilization for leaders of the newly established district networks of people living with and experienced TB from 9 operational health districts. In collaboration with the Provincial Health Department of Siem Reap Province, KHANA facilitated and supported an in-house refresher YKP-friendly sensitization training for the healthcare workers who provide HIV, STD, and SRH services for key populations, including young people. The plan to improve the quality of health care services of the US Assistance Agency USAID-EQHA II of KHANA, with the support of technical and financial support from FHI360. Additionally, in cooperation with the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Women's Affairs, KHANA organized a training course on "Health Care for Victims of Gender-Related Violence" which was held in Kampong Thoma from June 24 to 28, 2024.  

STB Partnership Cameroon

Stop TB Partnership, in collaboration with the Ministry of Health of Cameroon and DRAF TB, held a crucial regional meeting “Advancing community, rights, and gender for an equitable response to tuberculosis in French-speaking Africa” from June 11-13, 2024, Yaoundé - Cameroon. The event brought together around 100 experts and advocates to discuss how to better integrate community engagement, human rights, and gender considerations into responses to TB. Discussions focused on identifying barriers preventing people from accessing TB diagnosis and treatment. Also, Commitments were made by parliamentarians to strengthen their commitments in the development of policies favorable to domestic financing of the tuberculosis response in Cameroon.  

 

STB Partnership Congo

STB Partnership Congo participated in a workshop organized by the NTP between 16-22 June, 2024 in Kinshasa to discuss the 2023 national TB report and the results of the community, advocacy, and CRG activities carried out in 2023. STB Congo also participated in the CLM Integration CLM_OnImpact Workshop held on 19-20 June 2024 in Kinshasa. Additionally, a meeting was held on KVP size estimation ‘’Steering Committee’’ aiming at the adoption of the KVP size estimation protocol. In attendance was the representatives from NTP, National HIV/AIDS Programme, USAID, SANRU TB Lon, PROSANI/USAID, Stop TB RDC, CAD, LNAC, CEDHUC and EDEN  

STB Partnership Ghana 

TB Partnership Ghana intensified the training of the district advocacy committees under the challenge facility for civil society round 12. The training of these committees continued for selected districts across Ghana. Participants were trained on how to address community rights and gender issues while addressing barriers to accessing TB services using the TBImpactGH app, as well as community-led monitoring, demand accountability from various actors at the district level, ensure the availability of TB supplies, and mobilizing people and resources at the local level towards ending TB in Ghana.  

 

STB Partnership Indonesia  

The TBC policy tracker dashboard was officially launched on June 13, 2024, and the public can access the dashboard online at policy. tbindonesia. gold. Id. There were also participants chosen to be TB Survivor Ambassadors.  

 

 

 

 

 

 

STB Partnership Mozambique  

A General Assembly meeting was conducted in Maputo to discuss and agree on various matters related to the country platform. A total of 31 people attended the event: Social Bodies of the Stop TB Partnership Association (General Assembly Board, Board of Directors, and Supervisory Board), Members of the National Tuberculosis Control Program (PNCT), Members of the Health Promotion Department (DEPROS), CCS collaborators, Stop TB Mozambique, and founding members. The meeting aimed at presenting accounts, approving, deliberating, and budgeting administrative-financial forecasts of the Stop TB Partnership Association's activity plan  

 

STB Partnership Tanzania

Tanzania STP worked with the Ministry of Mineral, Ministry of Tourism, and Ministry of Defense to advocate for mainstreaming TB activities and also met with National TB and Leprosy Program (NTLP) and World Health Organization (WHO) Tanzania Office at the Prime Minister's Office to coordinate and convene MAF-TB Secretariat Quarter II meeting to harness the implementation of Annual MAF-TB Road Map Activities; including Preparing a Visit to the 7 Tanzania Public Services Colleges for Mainstreaming TB in their existing Teaching Curriculums, Preparation for the large Meeting with National Famous Private Sectors on TB orientation and Fund raising as one of the efforts to embolize domestic resources for TB. There was also a Visit to the President's Office Public Services Department and Ministry of Planning and Investment to engage decision makers on guidelines for the inclusion of TB with Objective A of all Ministries which deals with AIDS for Joint financing in the country.  

 

Stop TB Partnership Tajikistan

Stop TB Partnership Tajikistan started the conduction of a TB community mapping exercise for the year 2024 in Tajikistan. The activity will result in producing a Report “Mapping the community response to TB in Tajikistan” and a Directory of CSOs/CBOs 2024. The Report provides conclusions and recommendations for strengthening community systems and responses to TB in Tajikistan based on analysis of data that are being currently collected from CSOs/CBOs, as well as practices, observations and learnings from recent years. To increase visibility of the engagement of the CSOs/CBOs’ and their contribution to achieving the UN HLM and TB national targets, the STPT has started creating its website by expert group to increase media engagement.  

Stop TB Partnership Uganda

There were different supervisory sessions on skills-building activity for TB survivors for 3 days and it was attended by over 65 participants from all 5 networks, one network per city division. The training was basically on income-generating activities (IGAs) that included a bakery, mushroom growing, shoe making, soap making, and chicken, and goat raring. This was mainly done to empower the TB survivors so that they could better their lives.

 

 

Stop Tb partnership Ukraine

STB Partnership Ukraine participated in the Uzbekistan regional event titled "Fulfillment of the UN High-Level Council on Tuberculosis: Regional Dialogue in Europe and Central Asia", organized by the STP, World Health Organization (WHO) European Bureau, USAID. The Ukrainian Government approved the Operational Plan for 2024-2026 on HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, and viral hepatitis B and C for the period until 2030 developed by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine with the contribution from a wide circle of partners
