Organization Description:
We have a mission to deliver the health services to the most disadvantaged people of the society. TB is highly infectitious and by the rate of its growth, if not controlled on time, it will become a huge epidemic. We do active case finding in the urban communities and provide treatment to the TB patients along with proactive and detailed counseling.

Agecare Foundation works with the governement in the operational areas and follow the guidelines of RNTCP and WHO. In 2015, we registered around 1500 TB patients and treated 2000 patients.We are thrive to detect more and more TB cases to contribute our bit towards the Global Fund's aim of eradicating TB from the face of this earth.

Contribution

Please tell us how your organization will contribute to the Global Plan to Stop TB by briefly describing its involvement in any of the areas of work listed below:

TB Care Delivery:
Agecare detects the TB patients in the slum communities and provides them the entire treatment free of cost. We also work for awareness generation by going house to house of the people living in the disadvantaged communities and impart the knowledge of this deadly disease and the preventive methods.

Drug-Resistant TB:
We also provide treatment to the DRTB Cases. So far we have enrolled more than 150 DRTB cases in the areas we work.
