Drug-Resistant TB:
Working on new advanced gene chip for rapid detection, classification, and catagorization of TB drug resistance

TB-HIV:
Development of simplified methodologies for detection concomitant NTM Mycobacterial presence in patients with HIV and TB.

Laboratory Strengthening:
Introduction of molecular based systems for TB labs in the countries of the developing world

New Diagnostics:
Development of technology that link conventional and molecular based technologies for Mycobacteriology Labs in countries of the developing world

New TB Drugs:
Investigation of new compounds for their potential role in TB related antibiotic therapy
