Organization Description:
HABITATCARE AND PROTECTION INITIATIVE is a non-governmental, non-profit NGO engaged in thematic areas that cut-across developmental issues including health.
Our NGO came to existence in 2005 and since then has gradually become one of the top civil society organizations in the state.

We are part of the malaria and TB network which are focused on eliminating the diseases in our communities. Our work in the area of HIV/AIDS especiaally in home based care exposed us to the needs of PLWHA especially those down with TB as it is not possible to adequately provide care for them without tackling TB as a co infection. We currently do advocacy, community sensitization, information disemination as well as home based care.
