The Fundación Hábitat Verde has promoted, in collaboration with the Ministry of Health, the Country Coordination Mechanism (CCM) of Bolivia, has promoted the 2 dialogues to develop the Transition Plan for the Exit of the Global Fund for Tuberculosis, HIV and Malaria
• Our work has focused on the continuity of its activities in the framework of the Transition Plan of Bolivia collaborating at the level of departmental and municipal governments with the highest incidence. • Work at the social level has been its strong point with other actors emerging from the biomedical vision, attending other educational and human rights factors, such as the Penitentiary Regime, NGOs, the Ombudsman's and Children's Departments, allies of civil society that drive an agenda of activism and defense of human rights.
The most important result is Bolivia´s transition plan, which has 4 important strategies: 1.- Strategic and intersectoral financing for the prioritized activities in the national response plans (6.6%). 2.- Strategic, timely, quality information available for decision making (39.6%). 3.- Permanent, timely and quality availability of medicines, supplies and reagents (27%). 4.- Sustainable Civil Society, articulated with the State and with effective participation in the response (26.8%). As a result, the Bolivian Transition Plan for the exit of the Global Fund will be reported at a cost of 3,549,537 (100%) of American Dollars.
The particular case of Tuberculosis of the transition plan due to the departure of the Global Fund, shows that of 100% of the cost of said transition plan, only 8.3% ($ 296,326) will be for civil society and for the National Tuberculosis Program they will be 4.7% ($ 16,7057). It is recommended to finance the gaps for Tuberculosis. |

Contribution |
Please tell us how your organization will contribute to the Global Plan to Stop TB by briefly describing its involvement in any of the areas of work listed below: |
TB Care Delivery: Bolivia, has become a highly dependent country of the financing of the Global Fund, our contribution to achieve the medical care of Tuberculosis, is that public health financing actions are needed, this is our field of work, which we offer.
TB-HIV: The Fundación Hábitat Verde, is contributing to promote public health actions as community actions to implement the interprogrammatic National TB / HIV Committee was agreed. For example, the case of a region of Santa Cruz - Bolivia, is that the leaders are involved in the preventive treatment of the disease for Tuberculosis.
This geographical region, is the region most affected by tuberculosis and HIV, people with HIV, are those who are reluctant to start their treatment Preventive of Tuberculosis. That is our contribution to create links and learning channels. |
