Organization Description: |
NGO "J B CONCORDIA" was created in 2018 by group of people, with an active outlook on life. The main objectives of the project are to coordinate and facilitate efforts to develop innovative changes in various fields in Ukraine, in particular health care, to support society in the field of project implementation, prevention, diagnosis, treatment and overcoming diseases such as tuberculosis.
NGO have a lot of plans for future, but now we are focused on the most important topic - health, because without health, nothing around is important. NGO is going to unite all interested non-profit organizations, medical institutions and centers, private business representatives to solve the problems associated with the TB epidemic in Ukraine, which has been going on since 1995. |

Ukraine is one of 30 countries with the highest tuberculosis (TB) burdens in the world, and one of 10 countries with the highest incidence of multidrug-resistant TB, making it one of the highest priority countries in the World Health Organization European Region to fight TB. We want to change it. Our activity is to organize events aimed at informing people, sharing experiences and finding new solutions to the disease, visiting educational institutions for the dissemination of information to children and teachers. But we are inclined to expand our range of activities and working on it. |

TB Care Delivery: -assistance in the interaction of social services with medical state institutions -organization of trainings and seminars for medical workers and for ordinary people to raise awareness about TB problems -counseling and psychological support -legal support -teaching the patient and his family members the right approach to fighting the disease
Laboratory Strengthening: NGO "J B CONCORDIA" holds meetings and seminars on the results of which resolutions are drawn up and, subsequently, money is allocated from the state budget to buy diagnostic materials. |
