Punjab Health Sector Reforms Program (PHSRP) was started in 2006 as a Project Management Unit of Health Department. It had multifaceted functions including but not limited to monitoring and improvement of both primary and secondary healthcare facilities. It had been working as focal office not only for implementation of MDGs sponsored by Asian Development Bank (ADB) but also remained involved in launching and coordinating other priority initiatives like Maternal Newborn and Child Health Program (MNCH), Chief Minister’s Initiative for Attainment and Realization of MDGs (CHARM), integration of MNCH, LHW and Nutrition Program under IRMNCH & Nutrition Program. PHSRP focus was Provision of Missing facilities in Primary and Secondary level health facilities Infrastructure (civil works at RHCs and BHUs) |
