1. Background
The journey of SAATH Development Society (SDS) begins in year 2003, when it was formally registered under social welfare Ordinance XLVI of 1961, as a non-governmental organization (NGO). Certification Number: DO/SW/CDD/VA/NF/2004/76 -On 20th March 2004. The SAATH Development Society (SDS) initially focused on promoting volunteerism and organizing communities for the solution of their problems. This community mobilization work spread throughout district Noushahro Feroz , Sindh. The organization has crossed three phases of development such as
o The inception Phase (2003-2004) o The growth phase (2004-2012 ) o Spin off phase ( 2013 – on wards )

Socially equal and economically prosperous society enjoying their rights with peace dignity and harmony
Mission: To develop human capital for promotion of equality, justice and well-being through community organization, awareness raising, and capacity building for social and economic development and sustainable basis

3.1 Program Objectives
• To form, mobilize and capacity enhancement of Community Development Associations, (CDAs), CBOs, VOs, Farmer groups, women groups and borrowers for the active participation in realizing the sustainable development of the society
• To facilitate and promote income generation and entrepreneur skills especially handicrafts, agri-Business and marketing techniques through provision of micro credit in rural areas
• To capacity of youth through training and mentoring in gender equality, better environment, basic education, primary health, and human rights through social mobilization and advocacy programs
• To Provide access to quality education to the children of underserved rural population through establishing community schools in rural areas
• To provide health promotional , referrals and support services to |
