GOAL
To Advocate, Monitor and conduct community Education and Awareness raising on clean and Sustainable Environment in Sierra Leone through Networking, Partnership, and capacity building

OBJECTIVES
• Promote initiatives for clean and Sustainable Environment that is capable of protecting our future generations
• Enhance massive Community Sensitization and awareness raising on Climate Change and Environmental protection issues
• Promote the knowledge and understanding of community members and Community stakeholders on the preservation and protection of the Environment
• Build the capacity of community women and youths to enhance their participation and understanding of Climate Change and Environmental hazards and their roles in preventing such hazards.
• Engage community women and youths as Change Agents on Climate Change and the Environment
• Ensure adherence to Climate Change and Environmental policies and activities.
• Monitor the economic, social and cultural activities of all stakeholders that have the potential of contributing to climate change and environmental hazards.
• Build a strong partnership with National and International institutions to advocate for Climate Change and Environmental protection issues.
• Develop data and resource information on climate change and Environmental issues.
• Collaborate with Paramount Chiefs, Local Authorities, Youths, Women and other stakeholders in all communities to Undertake massive tree planting and other climate change mitigation and adaptation activities.
• Produce and disseminate timely reports on the activities of the Network
• Lobby the Executive and Legislative arms of Government to formulate, strengthen and implement policies and laws that will promote and protect the climate and environment
• To Educate and train community farmers to undertake climate change adaptation programs.
• To build partnership with ministries, departments and agencies to address climate change and environmental issues.

If we are given the opportunity to partner it will be of great moves for us to be fully involve and ensure to be active in every TB related activities in my country. We have been partially involved as individuals not as an organization.

TB Care Delivery:
KEY ACTIVITIES
CAN-SL intends to promote and strengthen national initiatives relating to climate change adaptation and mitigation in a participatory manner involving all CSO partners, particularly empowering women, youths and other groups to reduce their vulnerability to climate change and promoting sustainable development in Sierra Leone.
? Undertake Community Monitoring, Awareness Raising and Sensitization on climate change and environmental hazards.
? Advocacy on climate change and environmental hazards with policy makers and community members.
? Awareness raising and community sensitization on climate change and the environment
? Media engagement nationwide on deforestations and environmental degradation by human activities.
? Building strong partnership with the Government of Sierra Leone, Development Partners, Ministries, Departments and Agencies.
? Embark upon sustained Internal and External Resources mobilizations activities.
? Build the capacity of network members through trainings in basic skills on climate change and other environmental hazards.
