ProteinLogic Ltd (PL) is a biomarker discovery and exploitation company developing a novel diagnostic platform and diagnostic products with broad clinical utility. The company was founded in 2003 in Cambridge, UK, based on the work of Nobel laureate César Milstein.
ProteinLogic has developed an immunoassay diagnostic for the ruling out of Active TB from a blood sample. ProteinLogic has validated this diagnostic signature with over 1000 high quality, prospectively collected, ethnically diverse TB patient samples, our results exceeding the WHO mandated performance criteria of 90% sensitivity and 70% specificity, including for extra-pulmonary TB cases. |
