Contribution |
Please tell us how your organization will contribute to the Global Plan to Stop TB by briefly describing its involvement in any of the areas of work listed below: |
TB Care Delivery: We are working in a very backward tribal area where access to healthcare extremely poor. TB is rampant. Underdetection and poor adherence rates to TB drugs is major problem. We organize mass awareness programmes on TB, advocacy along with individulaised care of TB patients and their families.
Laboratory Strengthening: As we work in a remote area, we need this very much. there are no xray facilities in 130 km distance. CBNAAT facilities is 60-80 km away which we carry the sample to. Lab strengthening in rural areas is important aspect of Tb control
Research: There is lot os scope for research in tribal areas. We need training and assistance in operational research |
