Organization Description: |
The organization has regular cultural activities like music classes, dancing, performing drama and more. What is the best strength of this cultural organization is running a library for decades. Besides, the organization participated and conducted many development events and activities. For which the organization has been awarded many certificates from GO and NGOs, local govt. authority like DC office and City Corporation. All these recognition made the organization more to work for the betterment of the society especially for the youth people including girls and women coming from middle classes and disadvantaged families. The organization's past and ongoing working experience includes number of cultural activities and events, AIDS Program, Tree Plantation. The exclusive program of JGSS is providing psychological support for the TB victims and Tobacco issues who are some neglected, experience less medical support and social inclusion among mass people in the communities. |

Providing mental/psychological support to the TB patients ( TB positive, MDR,and TB Negatives), organizaing events relating counseling/advocacy-awareness, rally, discussion and campaigning. The particular program of the organization is providing books and newspapers for reading, and recreation support only funded by the organization for an year. Besides, the organization follows national TB programs and International TB day. |

Please tell us how your organization will contribute to the Global Plan to Stop TB by briefly describing its involvement in any of the areas of work listed below: |
TB Care Delivery: The organization provide advocacy to the TB patients, encourage to use masks, inspire to lead better life after recovery, communicate the potential TB patients for necessary tests/diagnosis to the nearby TB centre like Govt. centres or community support services. Besides, the patients who are poor and come from disadvantaged families are ensured not to be neglected in the societies.
Drug-Resistant TB: To ensure and guide the MDR patients to be well protected and taking treatment course/facilities without interval, timely taking medicine, not to use tobacco to recover early ! Currently the organization provide psychological support to 19 women MDR patients, 10 positive women, 22 male MDR patients, 24 positive males.
TB-HIV: To aware people, advocacy in mass people in community levels |

The potential TB patients should be well addressed and their privacy should be well handed with ensuring proper care and guidance to make the global free of TB by community and country level interventions !There are more patients still unidentified due social stigma, lack of knowledge and financial hardship to fund TB treatment.
