Organization Description:
Our ethos is one of self-help. We believe that people living with HIV and Tuberculosis should be central to the relevant debates about health and social policy. People have the right to information, support, and role models, and can deal effectively with the world either on their own or with each other's support.

We are the HIV TB Response. The organization evolved in 2013 from the UK Ukrainian AIDS Response (founded in 2004) to reflect the significant challenge of HIV/TB coinfection in Eastern European countries.

Amongst a variety of projects, we have worked with Men who have Sex with Men (MSM), street children, and families infected and affected by HIV.

We develop the advocacy capacity of/and work directly with other organizations, to enable them to deliver HIV services, change national policy and to overcome stigma and discrimination.

We are currently developing new programmes specifically targeting the new challenges people living with the virus in the future face. These include HIV and wellbeing, HIV and ageing, and further cultivating our capacity on HIV and TB/MDR-TB and Hepatitis coinfection.
