Organization Description:
The mission of our organization is “To create an environment for the deprived & disadvantaged communities for sustainable development and empowerment through promoting Community based Organizations with a focus on children, Children’s clubs, Women SHGs, Farmers groups and people centered natural resource management to ensure food security, health and education promotion and other developmental needs in the block in convergence with Government rural development services / programs’.

In our target area, there are a large number of TB infected people are in severe condition due to lack of awareness and support services, so on behalf of our organization we would like to eradicated TB from our target area.

We have done awareness program among the village people, done 'Mantoux test'for screening for tuberculosis and for tuberculosis diagnosis and provided 'DOT' treatment in convergence with Govt. department. But presently the program is stop due to lack of support.

In the near future we would like to continue awareness camps 'Mantoux test'for screening and treatment in support Stop TB Partnership in our target area/block

On behalf of our organization, we would like to create awareness in our target area, want to establish a 'Testing Center' in our organization premises for TB identification, link with RNTPC, District/Local Govt. Hospital for effective implementation of 'DOT' program in our target area/block to participate in the country's national TB control plan.

Please tell us how your organization will contribute to the Global Plan to Stop TB by briefly describing its involvement in any of the areas of work listed below:

TB Care Delivery:
On behalf of our organization, we would like to work in Shekendra block of Jamui district in Bihar state of Indian Union. We have expertise on advocacy, IEC and social mobilization in any given community through our staff and volunteers.

Laboratory Strengthening:
We would like to establish a 'Laboratory' in our organization for several test related to TB as the local hospital is far away and the testing facilities are not adequate enough.
