TB Care Delivery:
SHDEPHA+ KAHAMA contributes fully in terms of community TB care approaches,in terms of sensitization and mobilization, prevention and control measures, screening and testing, community referral linkages for treatments of TB/HIV. This are conducted outside the promises of formal health facilities in communities and community based structure. And this is coordinated by a well skilled staffs of the organization in collaborations with the District Medical officers as well as District TB coordinators for proper implementation. However the organization is extremely centered/ engaged to the community and this ea zen in terms of finding issue affecting their well beings.
TB-HIV:
SHDEPHA+ KAHAMA contributes to TB/HIV awareness, prevention and control measures to the general population and key populations, and this is because we concentrate on the key vulnerable population because we believe such diseases tends to concentrates in poor and marginalized communities who face many barriers to access health service due to lack of awareness, therefore in order to reach our goals in this perspective we involve the following parameters;
a). Community active TB case finding/ HIV. b). Sputum fixing Microscope/ GeneXpert/ X-ray c). Tracking to the confirmed positive clients of TB/HIV,loss follow up tracing. d). Health education and counseling e). Infection, prevention and control measures
