Organization Description: |
Mission: We work in partnership with all stakeholders including Government, Corporate organisations, individuals, and communities to promote citizens-centered sustainable development.
Contrary to the plan to half TB incidence rate from the 1990 value of 262 per 100,000 populations rather the incidence rate has continued to increase and now stand at 322 cases per 100,000 populations. In fact, Nigeria’s first-ever TB prevalence survey conducted in November 2012 showed that 600,000 new TB cases occur in Nigeria annually. On this basis, KDK see TB as a priority intervention to promote sustainable development.
As a major disease of public health concern, We at KDK pay particular emphasis in support stakeholders in developing programs and mobilizing resources in support of the cause.
