1. ISR Mission: As a representative nongovernmental organization (NGO) to facilitate the global endeavors of the ISR’s member organizations to improve patient care and population health through medical imaging. 2. Imaging serves as a valuable diagnostic tool for TB and the ISR can play a significant role in educating practitioners in developing countries in early diagnosis of TB. 3. ISR is working collaboratively with the WHO on TB initiatives and participates annually in supporting World TB day. ISR is supporting the WHO in expanding the use of CXR and evaluating the efficacy of CAD for detecting TB.
