| 1.To provide that every TB patient has access to effective diagnosis and treatment in Istanbul 2.Tuberculosis is still one of the major causes of preventable death in the world.TB incidence rate is moderately high in Istanbul. 3. *We offer health services through nine TB dispensaries in Istanbul. *We provide outpatient care to about 2,000 patients with tuberculosis every year,in connection with NTP. *We are running a tuberculosis laboratory. Herein between 20 and 25 thousand samples are processed every year. *If TB patient need, we provide Housing, transportation and food assistance *We contribute to the training of doctors and nurses whom work in tuberculosis dispensaries. *We provide funding for TB care in several ways. *We are the main sponsor of the Turkey Tuberculosis Congress held once every two years *We advocate to influence policy changes and sustain political and financial commitment for TB control program in Istanbul and Turkey. |

For this, we can collaborate with organizations such as the WHO or IUATLD and we can contribute to meeting the education expenses to a certain extent. political and financial commitment for TB control program in Istanbul and Turkey. Drug-Resistant TB: In Istanbul, There are two Drug-Resistant TB Clinics.We can contribute to the training of doctors from other countries.For this, we can collaborate with organizations such as the WHO or IUATLD and we can contribute to meeting the education expenses to a certain extent |
