Contribution

Please tell us how your organization will contribute to the Global Plan to Stop TB by briefly describing its involvement in any of the areas of work listed below:

TB Care Delivery:
We support 75 centers detect, refer and link TB cases to care. We also have a pilot center that provides comprehensive TB care to people, including TB/HIV patients. Our services began in 2011 and is still ongoing

TB-HIV:
With funds from PEPFAR and National Agency for the control of AIDS, we provide support to NTBLCP and service delivery points to better detect, manage and or refer cases for care and treatment. Using PITC strategies, HIV patients are screened for TB and those with infection are treated or referred for treatment. Our services began in 2011 and is still ongoing

Research:
EFMC worked to see the effect of changes to PEPFAR strategies affected TB identification, linkage, and care. In 2017/18, we plan to do a cost-effectiveness study on TB identification, treatment, and cure.
