| “SuryaKala”A non-profit, non-government organization is located at Pipra Bishanpur, District - Sitamarhi, Bihar, yet to develop area of India. Our mission is to treat people suffering from life-threatening diseases, mainly focused on Tuberculosis and Cancer, to drive clean and green initiatives, to motivate personal hygiene. In last one year, we have helped thousands of people by launching Super Specialty Health Camps in remote locations and arranged medical teams and medicines to benefit the one who cannot afford it. It is made possible only because of help from generous people contributing for this noble cause. The scope of our work is ever increasing and we are trying to reach out more people who need help. We are working to launch well equipped charity multi-specialty hospital with separate department of TB and cancer care. As a startup, we are starting “Vaidehi Health Care”, A 25 bed primary health care center from 11th October, 2016. Vision:- – Clean & Green Villages Initiatives – Tobacco free society – Tuberculosis free society – Cancer Care Mission:- ? Integrated, patient-centered care and prevention ? Early diagnosis of tuberculosis including drug-susceptibility testing, and systematic screening of contacts and high-risk groups. ? Preventive treatment of persons at high risk, and BCG vaccination. ? Treatment for all with tuberculosis. Pilot Projects 1. “Mission TB & Tobacco Free Sitamarhi’’ 2. “Clean & Green PipraBishanpurGram Panchayat” Infrastructure Initial phase: Vaidehi Health Care:- Primary Health Care Center Later phase: Fully equipped Hospital (up to 200 bed) Separate ward for TB & Cancer patients Plan of Action: ? Encourage and motivate to increase sanitary and personal hygiene ? Health awareness campaigns ? Super Specialty Health Camps ? Quit Tobacco movement ? Awareness about stigma of TB ? Motivate to participate in DOTS program ? Rehabilitation of tuberculosis patient ? Support for cancer patient |
