Public center “Parastor” is registered in Ministry of Justice of Republic of Tajikistan for ? 208? from 12.08.2007 years. NG? collaborates with schools and health centers of the local communities, and conducts needs assessment and support to solve problems. NGO collaborates with UNICEF on project Water Supply and Sanitation. By this project toilets constructed, reestablished water points for drinking in 50 schools of Khatlon oblast of the Republic of Tajikistan. For more info please, visit www.unicef.tj To enhance the quality of life and equal participation, in society of low income groups, especially Tajik women, by offering services and products such as health, environmental sanitation, capacity building, technical assistance and finance in an efficient and sustainable way.We are interested in tuberculosis that there was healthy society. |

Please tell us how your organization will contribute to the Global Plan to Stop TB by briefly describing its involvement in any of the areas of work listed below: |
TB Care Delivery: Training and continued education of all health care workers (including community health workers)** involved in TB control; coordination between the NTP and Human Resources for Health (or equivalent) departments regarding staffing, filling of vacancies, and retention packages; supportive supervision; TB screening among health care workers (including community health workers).
Drug-Resistant TB: Scale up access to testing for resistance to first-line anti-TB drugs among TB patients
TB-HIV: Conduct annual surveillance for TB disease among health care workers (including community health workers); develop an infection control plan for facility-level managerial activities, administrative controls, environmental controls and personal protection measures, and implement these measures; train health care workers providing care for people living with HIV on TB infection control
Laboratory Strengthening: Improve the diagnosis of TB among AFB smear-negative TB cases, especially among people living with HIV
New Diagnostics: Address existing knowledge gaps obstructing the development of new diagnostic tools
New TB Drugs: Develop a safer, higher-efficacy and shorter regimen for drug-resistant TB, that is compatible with HIV treatment
Fundamental Research: Build support for TB vaccine development and uptake through advocacy, communications and resource mobilization.
Research: Improve implementation of joint TB/HIV control activities at the global, regional and national levels |
