Organization Description: |
To conduct research, information, training and seminar. To collaborate with stakeholders on issues related to climate change and environmental analysis. Reduction of climate change burden and increase in environmental management for sustainable national development in Nigeria \. To acquire knowledge that can help mitigate and adapt to adverse effects of climate change and to enhance the production and delivery of weather and climate services for sustainable development
We are interest in TB control due to 1. To know the impact of climate chnage to the spread of TB 2. To predict future TB locations and to account for environmental conditions and seasonal changes. 3.To map the risk locations and 4.To provide policy recommendation on TB incidence
New perspectives and ways of addressing TB treatment and control are needed especially in Nigeria, given the increasing incidence of the infection and the fact that the country is ranked fourth in the global burden of the disease. Geographical Information System is a useful tool in disease control worldwide; hence the need for its application in TB control in Nigeria.
