VISION:
YPPD envisions a society wherein young people can maximize their potentials in development that affect their lives through enhancing their capabilities and enabling them to affirm control over their life circumstances.

MISSION:
Our mission is to advocate, inform, involve, inspire and celebrate social change led by and for youths through a multifaceted approach. We connect with organizations and individuals with a view to supporting young people, and build alliances between youth groups, developing and empowering the marginalized and vulnerable youth of Sierra Leone.

WHY ARE WE INTERESTED?
YPPD being a youth-led approach to development and health in particular, TB prevention and control in Sierra Leone is one critical issue that requires multi-stakeholder approaches for the progressive realization of the "End TB Strategy."

WHAT ARE WE DOING:
A major part of our work is focused on two broad engagement; one is on policy advocacy and engagement and the other is primarily is community education and outreach.

As an institution in the Public Health sector, we have been into massive advocacy at the central level and at the same time using innovative community-oriented education and outreaches on TB prevention and control.

YPPD will contribute to this area through advocacy, communication and social mobilization

YPPD will also institute strong non-state actors engagement and monitoring of the delivery of essential TB services nationwide.
