| SHAPE INDIA ("Social and Humanitarian Action for Promoting Education in India") is a registered, secular, nonprofit organization working in the fields of child rights,education promotion, HIV AIDS,Health issues,Youth development through skill training & livelihood promotion,Women Empowerment and gender development. Initiated in 2001 by a group of professional social work practitioners, SHAPE INDIA has marked its presence through the innovative ways of identifying the needs for development interventions in the target communities, as well as the efficiency in the implementation and laudable project management skills.SHAPE India is leading voluntary organization reaching out to more than 50,000 beneficiaries including children, women, senior citizen and weaker sections of the society. Vision SHAPE INDIA believes that every person has the right to live his/her life with dignity. The environment in which people live plays a vital role in bringing up development in the community. SHAPE INDIA aims at provide the right stimulating environment where every child and every individual can live a healthy and purposeful life with respect, love and security. Mission To work for developing a healthy and conducive environment for the underprivileged to attain the dignified life & leading to the Social, Cultural and Economic uplift of the people and community as a whole. Organization Interest in Tuberculosis- We are interested to work on Tuberculosis because we are already working with the MSM ( Men Having Sex with Men), FSW ( Female Sex Worker), IDUs ( Injected Drug Users)and Migrant Communities in Three States of India i.e. Mumbai in Maharashtra,South East in Delhi, Amritsar & Mandigovindgarh in Punjab with the Partnership of NACO & PHFI- USAID. We have found Tuberculosis in the above categories which is effecting the health of the beneficiaries that's why there is a need |
