Luke Society - Trujillo (Peru) is a branch of Luke Society International. The mission of Luke Society International is to empower indigenous health professionals to provide quality medical care and health education as they share the Gospel of Jesus.
Luke Society - Trujillo works in Alto Trujillo community to improve health and education. We are interested in TB because it is a major threaten to Alto Trujillo community, causing significant morbidity, mortality and negative economic impact. We are planning to execute a project with the main goal of finding "hidden" individuals with TB. |
