"E.V.A." is a network that contributes to improving the quality of life of women affected by HIV infection, TB and other socially significant diseases. It brings together experienced activists in the field of access to health care and women leaders from the major cities of Russia and other regions, who work in this field.
In Russia, TB is the most wideaspread opprtunistic disease at HIV-infected people. Women with TB and HIV\TB co-infections are not protected enough by the state. We conducted a research on barriers of access of people living with HIV\TB co-infection to medical and social services . We plan to educate the employees of the medical and social state institutions on the specifics of work with people living with HIV\TB co-infection. |
