In addition, it is a duly recognized Rotary Community Corps organization of the Rotary International, and a licensed JSTOR International Participant. Combating hunger, poverty, corruption, and diseases such as HIV/AIDS, TB, Malaria, and et cetera; c. Promoting education and skills acquisition, women empowerment and gender equality, computer literacy and ICT awareness, peace-building and fundamental rights; d. Promoting accelerated community development, and environmental protection; and e. Fostering the development of all useful hidden talents, abilities and creative powers amongst disabled people of all kinds. It responds to these concerns through networking, collaboration and consensus building, education and awareness rising, advocacy, the providing of direct services on a not-for-profit basis, mentoring, training and leadership development workshops, the providing of legal, financial and psychological support for the needy, poor, vulnerable and most-at-risk people who would not have had any cause to smile but for our intervention. Our mission is to build peace, promote environment friendliness, cultivate healthy lifestyles, gender equality, enlightened and inclusive society where ignorance, poverty, corruption and violence are history, and where the rights of all are respected, protected and upheld.
