| Organization Description: |
1. Our mission and main focus is taking up challenges in the medical field and see if something new and innovative can be done for morbidities that afflict millions across the world. Our very small organization is headed by none else than Dr (Lt Col) Rajesh Chauhan, who is an Honorary National Professor of the Indian Medical Association, and who has also been conferred long ago the coveted Fellowship of the Indian Society of Malaria and Other Communicable Diseases (FISCD). His name and biography appears in the top biographies of the world, and the international biographers have ranked him amongst the very best in the world. We were a part of your StopTB Group under the name “CHAUHAN MEDICAL & RESEARCH CENTRE”, and had kept submitting our views, opinions and suggestions to StopTB, and we believe that they have made a difference in the management of TB across the world. We would like to continue throughout our lives to help and support the global fight against TB. We have been registered under the name of “FAMILY HEALTHCARE CENTRE” for the last four years, and would therefore like to get ourselves registered under this name only.
2. Headed by a Fellow of communicable diseases, we are interested in TB. We believe that we can contribute on advocacy and technical help straight away. And we have been doing that for a number of years until we decided to drop out about a year or two ago. Recently our book containing fourteen different innovative techniques for managing some chronic and common medical conditions has been published on 17 October 2014, which took away much of our time and energies (ISBN -13 : 978-3-659-62328-8; ISBN-10 : 3659623288; EAN : 9783659623288).
3. We would like to contribute towards meaningful research and innovations that could be helpful for control of TB. We would like to contribute towards meaningful research and innovations that could be helpful for control of TB. We are not registered with the government, or by the WHO, or with any other governmental or non-governmental organization. We are NOT requesting for any funding, and as such we don’t have any funds. We are managing within just the pension of our Dr (Lt Col) Rajesh Chauhan, who had taken a voluntary retirement at the age of 47 in 2008, after having served in the Indian and Botswana Armies for nearly 25 years. We plan to look into the aspects of (a) TB Spread and how it can be checked (b) Newer methods of management (c) Sift through the identification, management and control methods that are in place, and see what more can be done. We would also like to become a treatment and drug distribution centre.
