The overall aim of SpringAidintlD is fighting poverty in all its forms through mobilizing local human and material resources to bring positive changes in people's lives. Our core programme includes agriprogramme, early child learning, youth leadership, gender equality, human rights advocacy, democracy, health promotion and social entrepreneurship. Our Vision: A society where human dignity and equality of all people on the globe are acknowledged and respected. Mission: To contribute in creating a just world through fighting poverty in all its forms, encouraging community development. Our Approach: We adopt an integrated right perspective to all our activities. We believe in participatory projects. We work with communities not work for them. Therefore our method is to encourage community ownership of the projects we embark on. Core values: Our core values include transparency, teamwork, accountability, Integrity, respect for individual persons and common good. We are interested in tuberculosis because it has a devastating impact on many individuals, families and communities and rob them of a rich and healthy life. Since our inception in 2009, organizing events on TB Day has been one of our activities in our health promotion programme. Joining this partnership will strengthen our work in this regard. |
