Organization Description: |
1. Mission: To improve health and education conditions among the populations, marginalized and vulnerable groups and communities in particular, of Odisha and do everything in their power to promote necessary changes in the behavior, practices and policies; and the growth of a culture of solidarity, cooperation among peoples, justice and peace. 2. Because of the largest killer disease in India and as well as Odisha. In Odisha particularly a high burdened T.B state among states already high burdened Country. The people are poor economically and backward in comparison to rest of advance states. Utter poverty, illiteracy, social stigma and plenty of mines without basic amnesties make the poverty stricken people more vulnerable to tuberculosis. As per data more than 50thousand cases missing each year in Odisha pushed us to think for tuberculosis. 3. We are working in urban slum of Bhubaneswar. Create awareness among slum people in TB and other communicable disease. Observed World TB day and sensitize publishing report card and distribution of that to government, bilateral,multilateral agencies and NGOs to sensitize on the issues where are the gaps with voice of patients being Sahayog as a part of the forum. |

Our main focus is on reaching the unreached people, people in difficult areas, seasonal and frequent migrant workers, daily migrant workers, people in slum areas to work with them, sensitize on TB and DOT treatment. Time to time publish report card on status. Advocacy in media on the problem. |

TB Care Delivery: Identification of missing case, advocacy on diagnostic facilities close to the communities, increasing in finding of TB cases. Use of DOTS to recovered from the deadly killer disease and community mobilization to stop TB. |
