Sukalyan Welfare Society is a Government Registered Voluntary Organization implementing different welfare activities with prime focus to improve community health and ensuring rights among the marginalized women and children. These activities are being implementing in close collaboration with different State & Central departments along with active community support.
The journey of Sukalyan Welfare Society has been started in the year 2002 with a group of dedicated youths under the leadership of Mr.Kamal Karmakar, a dedicated social worker in the locality. Initial days the society was involved in organizing blood donation camps, cultural and sports activities, celebration of Birth day among the great personalities with active community participations. Later the Society got registered as a non political, Non Government, on religion Welfare Society. Slowly the organization comes in a structure form and presently involved in different welfare activities with support from GLRA-India under Axshya INDIA project as TBCV, Dept. of Heath & Family Welfare Govt of West Bengal, local Municipality, youth clubs and Community people. |
