Introduction: The Development of Institution & Youth Alliance (DIYA) is nonprofit, non-political, non- government and gender balance oriented organization. The DIYA was established on August 10, 2012. The DIYA was registered under Social Welfare Voluntary Agency Registration Act 1961. Vision: A society based on socio-economic and socio-political stability where every individual especially a poor feels comfortable to exercise his fundamental rights.
Mission: To strengthen the accessibility of underprivileged people towards fundamental rights i.e. Quality Education based on gender-justice, Peace, Health, Entrepreneurship, and other facilities as provided by the public and private institutions.
Focus: To establish a community based network of the vulnerable society for sustainable development through local and natural resources.

Please tell us how your organization will contribute to the Global Plan to Stop TB by briefly describing its involvement in any of the areas of work listed below: |
TB Care Delivery: Objective of the project is “ to develop and interactive community mobilization strategy for achieving 70% case detection and 85% cure rate, in partnership with NGO/CBO network and public sector facilities at the grass root level in 20 DOT district nationwide.
The program focus on an interactive community mobilization strategy for enhances case detection and cure rate. For the enhancing case detection. The program dwells on conducting interactive community dialogue and video sessions at the Muhillah/village level within the catchments population surrounding the designated centre. For enhancing cure rates the program focuses on identifying and training and cadre of community volunteer who than can support the program on directly observing TB patients in their compliance and adherence t the TB treatment regimen .
Drug-Resistant TB: Development of Institution & Youth alliance (DIYA) is an NGO, established in Agust 2012 with the support of community people. The organization is working for the social and economic development of the community by organizing different activities in the area, while sharing & dissemination of information is a continuous part of the organization, which has created awareness among the masses. The organization’s statement focuses “to facilitate, support, capacitate and coordinate with rural Village Development Organizations (VDOs)/Community Based Organizations (CBOs) so that the same may transfer into viable and sustainable entities
The objectives of the organization are;
a) To enhance skills and improve the individuals standard of living; b) To facilitate and engage community in the process of social, environmental and economic development.
Main activities of the project will be the social mobilization, Advocacy, through dialogu at Muhilla/village level in three UC in first quarter.
TB-HIV: We work for TB/HIV in different local communities (Villages, Schools, Colleges) |
