Citadel of Hope is a non governmental not for profit organization. it's major work is in the community to reduce the spread of HIV&AIDS and Tuberculosis through awareness and sensitization of community members on the need to protect themselves and others from getting infected with tuberculosis.
My organization is intrested in tuberculosis because it is a communicable disease that spreads faster than HIV&AIDS and my organization is based in a community that is densly populated and porous to tuberculosis infection.
Presently i organize community dialogeu on tuberculosis, where i educate community members on ways by which one can get infected with tuberculosis, how it spreads and how to protect themselves. The importance of living in a well vetilated environment in order not to get infected. Also accesing treatment when they see signs of tuberculosis at the nearest DOT centre to the community. |

| My orgaanization is contributing to the national TB control plan through involvement in tuberculosis program in the state thereby advocating for parrallel treatment of co-infected patients and reduction in stigmatization of people infected with the disease.Advocating for the Involvement of civil society organization at the national,regional and local level of TB planning, programming and implementation. |
