Through different projects of Medical Students Association of Rwanda(MEDSAR) like Rwanda Health Education Project(RHEP) Which operate in Kigali and Southern Province of Rwanda we are conducting campaign and teaching sessions to the community of Rwanda. For example when doing campaign we hold banners and posters all with messages of fight against tuberculosis, with loud speaker people were reminded symptoms of tuberculosis and how to prevent it. we walk for distance in different cities and around markets markets, where we stops for sometimes and teach people TB prevention methods. Then each student gather a small group of the attendants and makes a 20 minutes conversation about the tuberculosis and then after all attendants are gathered together, where we continue the health education on tuberculosis with a focus on the theme of each year. The last one being “Stop TB in my lifetime”. |
