Organization Description: |
1-Mission
To improve the life quality of vulnerable people through sustainable development and ensure timely humanitarian assistance in need. We do this by providing accessible, affordable quality healthcare services in rural areas of Pakistan and Azad Kashmir. Our core competency is to establish primary healthcare points in far flung areas, where people are in dire need.
2- Our Interest
Since 2010, we are managing disease databases in our areas of work. While communicating with rural communities and management of diseases database, we have found that large proportion of our beneficiaries are affected from TB. Saddening fact is that, people of these areas are not aware of the prevention and prevalence of TB and its deadly affects.
3- Planning
We are planning to create help desks and door to door screening of TB patients by reaching out to the most far areas, where our national TB Programme has no access or where the follow up is difficult. We are also aiming to start TB awareness programmes and campaigns.
