| Community Development Centre [CDC] is an non profit making organization since last 13 years in central India. CDC is working on three core issues i.e. Health, Livelihood and Conservation. In health sector we believe health is right of all human being. Our approach in the health is to strengthen the available health services and to aware the community to access the health facilities. Organization works on HIV/AIDS, TB, Women and Child health and nutrition. CDC is working on TB since last two years after our experience in the field. The TB patient is unable to reach health centres for testing and treatment due to lack of knowledge and awareness. Some myths are available within the community. Service providers also unable to reach TB patient. We know the TB is one of the communicable disease which affect development of the family. We wish to implement effectively our national TB programme in our working area. When the treatment is available why people are dying in every 9 minutes. Organization want to stop TB in the area. Organization Vision and Mission Vision: "CDC visualizes a society in which peace, justice and equality prevail and wherein all citizens irrespective of caste, creed, language and religion live in peace and communal harmony. CDC also envisages a society where the poor, the marginalized and the under privileged have equal opportunity for their involvement in the development process which is value based and sustainable and also have an appropriate environment to develop their fullest potential." Mission: "CDC actively supports and works towards a just and sustainable society by creating conditions for meaningful and disciplined involvement of all people and their organizations, in the development process which is based on macro approach and involves networking of the organizations at various appropriate levels.” |

| CDC is partner organization of CHAI and working as Mother NGO in three blocks of Balaghat district. We conduct community meetings every month and supporting programme for sputum collection, test and treatment. The AXAYA India TB programme is implemented in a part of district by the organization which supports our National TB Programme. | |
