Womenplus is a community based women led organization registered in Jan 2011 that empowers rural women with information on TB and HIV. we conduct defaulter tracing and support patients on treatment to prevent emergence of drug resistance TB due to non adherence, we also teach patients on the patients charter so that they understand their roles and responsibilities towards a TB free society, We understand that women bears the scourge of TB and HIV infection in Kenya- we have lost loved ones to TB and HIV and we live with HIV and affected by TB, most of us have survived Tuberculosis |
