Organization Description:
It is a non-governmental, apolitical and non-profit making organization.

TB is a disease of public health concern and the prevalence of the disease has been alarming in the past decades. Additionally, the drug resistance by the microbe has increased over the years.The resistance to drugs have been attribute to both poor clinical practice and negligence by patients.

FOHEPO has targetted patient sensitisation on compliance to treatment in other to avoid drug resistance.We have been sensitizing patients on the the clinical gravity of the illness if proper treatment is not received

It is true that not every patient has access to TB treatment in Cameroon.Reasons are numerous.However, the few that receive treat do not always adhere to prescription. FOHEPO has come in to sensitize patients on the importance of adherence to treatment.
