Please tell us how your organization will contribute to the Global Plan to Stop TB by briefly describing its involvement in any of the areas of work listed below: |
TB Care Delivery: We plan to advocate for increasing the awareness of DOTS in rural parts of Nepal and that includes many parts of western Nepal. We are keen to work with other organizations in our reach to be united to work as a team in expanding the strength of DOTS by counseling, advertising and promoting its uses and needs.
Drug-Resistant TB: Multi-drug resistant TB has a lot of prevalence in Nepal and we plan to bring these health deprived individuals to infrastructure-rich bigger hospitals and health centers and the new cases to be noted and planned for further research and diagnosis.
Laboratory Strengthening: We can help in specimen collection during mass-screening programs and processing the specimens for further diagnosis and research. |
