The All-Ukrainian Charitable organization “Tochka Opory” was founded and registered by the Ministry of Justice on 9 July 2009 as common response of young and progressive MSM upon AIDS/HIV epidemic in the country.
Currently, the organization carried out the large project in cooperation with the fund EJAF. The project embraced 1750 MSM, out of whom 114 were HIV-positive, 245 people were provided with individual consultations, 68 people were offered with social support. In December 2011, the new two year project on provision of social services for HIV-positive MSM and preventive measures to resist HIV epidemic expansion in 7 regions of Ukraine was launched in close cooperation and finance support EJAF. Also, we have successfully realized the two projects on LGBT community mobilization. Within these projects, we organized the eight specialized trainings for LGBT activists and practically trained 85 people. Both the International HIV Alliance in Ukraine and our organization accomplished the two projects on advocacy of LGBT community rights which were financed within the sixth round of the Global Fund.
