Organization Description:
Foundation For Sustainable Development In Africa-Ghana (FSDA-Ghana)was established in year 2005 as a not-for profit organisation. Its mission is to identify, promote and develop viable and sustainable projects and programs in critically vulnerable communities in Ghana.
FSDA-Ghana empowers people and communities to adopt posite health practices, expand access to quality health;
Program provides ssistants to address HIV/AIDs, Tuberculosis, Malaria and Reproductive Health.
FSDA-Ghana currently focuses on two regions, The Greater Accra and Volta Regions

FSDA-Ghana provides both TB and HIV education services in all the communities, it is working all the districts in the two Regions.

Contribution

Please tell us how your organization will contribute to the Global Plan to Stop TB by briefly describing its involvement in any of the areas of work listed below:

TB Care Delivery:
FSDA-Ghana to provide TB Education and DOTS services in all the districts within the two regions of Ghana that it operating and subsequently in all the regions; Work with the local media and community to promote TB activities; Encourage quick diagonsisbased on sputum-smear tests done and activily report TB symtons; Standradised reporting and recording of cases and treatment outcomes: Close observation of all TB patients thereapy and intake of their medication;

TB-HIV:
Community involvement in TB care and prevention; Address TB/HIV as co-infection issues in Prisons,among the refugees,; Promote behavioural change communications and interventions in support of TB/HIV control activities with the goal of at least reaching 75% of adults in the Dangme West and Ketu-South districts. Engage all communities Care Providers,
