Organization Description: |
SEDS is a non government voluntary organization working for disadvantaged poor people of Bangladeshi Community. We have health program for our poor members and people of the target area. Most of them are illiterate and ignorant. Tuberculosis is a chronic infection and these poor and ignorant people are not aware of their health and they can not detect the tuberculosis. So, in most cases people become very ill by avoiding the consequence of tuberculosis for their ignorance. In most cases tuberculosis become serious diseases. So, we are interested to make people aware of their health especially of tuberculosis because in our program areas tuberculosis has become epidemic. We will aware them on tuberculosis and if detected or suspected of TB, we will refer them to the nearest health centers where tuberculosis is diagnosed and if tuberculosis di9agonosed positive, we will refer them to government health clinics, hospital or private NGO's health centers where treatment of tuberculosis is dome freely. We will supervise, in such cases , so that the tuberculosis patients of our locality take TB antibiotics regularly until they are fully cured. So, in this way we plan to control TB in our working areas. |
