It was established in 2009 after a series of consultations and meetings facilitated by the ENHANSE project office in Nigeria.

The Vision of the TB Network is A TB-free Nigeria while its Mission is to coordinate civil society organizations in advocating for increased access to high quality and comprehensive tuberculosis services in Nigeria.

The Objectives of the Network are
• To contribute to reducing the TB burden in Nigeria and to create a platform through which CSOs can effectively advocate for comprehensive TB services in Nigeria.
• To further strengthen political commitment, increase awareness and support from all agencies and organizations involved in TB control in Nigeria
2. Nasarawa state has the highest prevalence of Tuberculosis in Nigeria and a devastating effect on Nigeria as a whole. This has aroused our interest in combating the epidemic in the country.
3. We have carried out series of TB awareness and sensitization outreaches in the state as well as advocacy and social mobilization that are on-going.
