| rbmaws works on a range of health and development issues in Uttar Pradesh state of India. rbmaws has developed a TB patients' group in Ganga rampur village, mathura district and mobilized media (The Hindustan Times) to do a story on lapses in TB care and control from patient's perspective. The news published in The amar uojala, rang the bell of authorities and a new DOTS centre was opened in the village to reduce the journey of TB patients or TB suspects and others. rbmaws is also a partner of AIDS Care Watch (ACW) which raises awareness of people living with HIV on life-extending options and TB prevention (IPT for children less than 6 years) and treatment and care is the focus of the campaign |
