Please tell us how your organization is contributing to your country's national TB control plan: |
WHP is implementing a large-scale, sustainable network of rural private providers across 25 districts of Bihar, India, under the Bill and Melinda Gates-funding program Ananya. The network will extend access to diagnostics and treatment available in the national TB program (RNTCP) to Bihar’s predominantly rural population. By introducing new DOTS providers into rural communities and implementing technology and supply chain innovations to bring high-standard TB management to villages, this project aims to increase TB case detection, reduce treatment delay, and increase treatment cure rates, all with reduction in patient out-of-pocket expenses.
