Organization Description:
Coast Youth for Change Group (CY4C) is a regional non-profit, non-governmental Youth Community Based Organisation implementing projects that aim to uplift lives, empower and transform youths in Taita districts of Coast province, Wundanyi constituency -Kenya, by supporting, and helping them explore alternative means of livelihood improvement. CY4C seeks to build a future that is characterised by gender equity, participation, accessibility, opportunity, informed choices, responsible stewardship of resources and individual and collective security. CY4C works either independently or in collaboration with other community-based organization, NGO’s, Government agencies, Christian Partners or specialist national or international organisations to implement target-specific projects, which are chosen specifically due to their potential for community-wide positive impact.
Our group’s major concern at the moment is copping with effects of the HIV/AIDS pandemic, TB, Drug Abuse, Human Rights, Environment, Adolescent Reproductive and Poverty eradication among other emerging issues effecting the youths, thus we provide an invaluable channel through which many youths can be reached.
We currently have an active TB advocacy project.we would love to network with more partners in this field
