Rural Peoples Foundation is non-governmental organization was incorporated under the company's code of 1963 (Act 179) of 18th November, 2003 at Accra in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana. Having complied with all the legal rules and requirements, the organization was duly recognized by the Department of Social Welfare, reference their certificate of recognition No.DSW.3313 which is renewable annually. The Foundation has embarked on Tuberculosis education in schools, churches and market places in the Asiedu-Keteke Sub. Metro of Accra Metropolitan Assembly with funds provided by Ghana Health Services, Accra Health Metro. TB Unit. The Foundation also carried out HIV/AIDS program on prevention education in the North Ablekuma Sub. Metro. of Accra Metropolitan Assembly, targeting youth in and out of school, truck pushers, apprentices etc. Funds were provided by the Rural Integrated Relief Service Ghana. The Foundation is managed by a competent team headed by Executive Director assisted the Accountant, Project Coordinator and Secretary. It has five (5) member board Trustees. The foundation is affiliated to the following. Ghana HIV/AIDS Network (Ghanet) Ghana Coalition of N.G.O.s in Health. Ghana Coalition of N.G.O.s in Malaria.
2.To help fight against the spread of Tuberculosis. And also to educate those infected to seek early treatment since it is curable and free. 3.To create TB education and awareness raising in the community.
